Jeremy is a colleague to Dr Piper in the private sector as well as a part time NHS General Practitioner in Oakham. He is a member of the British Medical Association, General Medical Council, Royal College of General Practitioners, Royal Society of Occupational Medicine and Medical Defence Union. He has many years experience of providing Occupational Health services to UK companies in a wide variety of sectors. He ofers both Private GP consultations and Occupational Health consultations including Sickness Absence Medicals, Pre-employment Medicals, Health Checks etc. He is able to undertake joint injections for shoulders, elbows etc
Dr Anita Gill trained as a GP but now specialises in Occupational Health Assessments. She undertakes a wide variety of services including Sickness Absence Medicals and Pre-employment Medicals.
Dr Joe Chan is a colleague to Dr Piper in the private sector as well as being a partner in an NHS practice in Leicester. He consults at the practice on Monday afternoons. He provides Private GP Consultations and has a strong interest in Functional Medicine and Nutrition. He also has a diploma in Acupuncture and is able to undertake joint injections for shoulders, elbows etc.
Dr Sanjiv Nichani is a consultant in Paediatrics working in the NHS at The Glenfield Hospital, Leicester. He also consulta at Nuffield Hospital. He is available here at Private General Practice Services on referral from one of our Private GP Practitioners. Dr Nichani is able to consult on
Dr Anshuman Pant is a consultant in Psychiatry working in the NHS in Leicester. He also consults at The Priory Hospital in Nottingham. Dr Pant is on the Specialist Register for Substance Misuse Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry, General Psychiatry. He is also Approved under the Section 12 (2) of the Mental Health Act. Dr Maureen Coggins is a consultant in Occupational Health. She has vast experience over some 30 years working for many different organisations. She undertakes Sickness Absence Medicals, Pre-employment Medicals, Executive Health Checks, HAVS Medicals, Work at Height Medicals etc on behalf of the practice.
Dr Jill O’Hagan is a part-time GP partner at the Mansfield Medical Centre in Coventry. This is a busy practice with a list size of over 10,000. In addition Jill now works as a part-time Private GP with Private General Practice Services. She decided to join the practice to help with the Practice’s increasing workload and to further her interest in Integrated Medicine including alternative medical treatments, and providing Nutritional and Dietary Advice.
Jill was a member of the Coventry Ethics Committee from 2002-2005 and was a GP appraiser for Coventry PCT from September 2003 to January 2005. She also worked for Midlands Occupational Health Services from June 2003 to December 2003. She is passionate about providing a high quality service to all her patients and helping them lead a healthy and fit lifestyle.
Jill is married and has one grown up daughter.
Dr. Nisha Karia is a Clinical Psychologist chartered with the British Psychological society (BPS). Dr. Karia qualified as a Practitioner Doctor of Clinical Psychology (PsychD.) in 2004 after 9 years of academic, research and clinical training from the University of Surrey via BPS recognised and accredited courses. Through this training, further professional development courses and relevant pre- and post-qualification clinical practice, Dr. Karia has developed her knowledge, skills and experiences in working psychologically with people across the lifespan and with a variety of developmental, clinical and mental health needs.
Dr Ahmed Vanker works as a Consultant in Clinical & Paediatric Neuropsychology both for the NHS and Private General Practice Services. He qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in Durban, South Africa, and completed a PhD in Neuropsychology at the University of Natal in 1989. He undertakes both private appointments and Occupational Health work on behalf of the practice.
Lindsay offers a complementary integrated nutritional service, providing dietary services to support medical treatment, and reduce the risk of chronic disease through optimum nutrition
Lindsay is an active member of her professional body, the British Association for Applied Nutrition & Nutritional Therapy (BANT), and serves on the Committee on Continuing Professional Development. She is particularly interested in research developments in functional medicine and preventive nutrition.
She is an accredited member of the NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners and a registered NTC practitioner. The NTC (Nutritional Therapy Council) is the professional standards council for nutritional therapy.
Rosie is one of our practice nurses. She is a fully qualified RGN and undertakes immunisations, health checks, blood tests both for private clients and Occupational Health clients. She is also trained to provide non invasive cosmetic treatments including glycolic peels and laser hair and thread vein removal. She has had prior experience in a commercial setting and helps co-ordinate our practice marketing.
Claire Davis is one of our two Practice Nurses. She trained in A&E and then developed an interest in Occupational Health work. She has worked as an occupational health advisor undertaking management referral work, and general OH advisory work. Claire now assists us with OH work, child and adult immunizations, travel vaccinations, medical health checks, blood tests and more.
Mike is Commercial Director of the practice. Mike has over 25 years experience in venture capital including 9 years as a director of 3i plc and 6 years as a founder director of Catapult Venture Managers. Mike provides commercial support to the practice particularly in the areas of finance and marketing. He also manages his own corporate finance consultancy business, Venture Investment Partners Ltd.
Katy is the Office Manager. She oversees the smooth running or the Practice Office and is dedicated to helping the team provide the best possible service to all our patients. Katy will ensure that all queries will be dealt with swiftly and to the patients upmost satisfaction.
Lucy started working at the Practice in May 2006 as a full-time Medical Secretary. She is responsible for ensuring all patient correspondence is completed. Lucy also has direct involvement with our patients over the phone and in person and is committed to providing the best possible service.
Dee is a full time Practice Administrator. She is responsible for new patient bookings, greeting patients, patient recalls, and general office administration. Dee is dedicated to providing the best possible service to all our patients.
Rebecca started working at the Practice in September 2008 as a full-time Medical Secretary and works in a job sharing role with Lucy Caleb. She is responsible for ensuring all patient correspondence is completed. She also has direct involvement with our patients over the phone and in person and is committed to providing the best possible service.
Jo is a fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapist. Graduating from Sheffield Hallam University with her degree in Physiotherapy; she was awarded the Hallam Award for her voluntary charity work with Hallam Volunteering. Jo works within the NHS as a Paediatric Physiotherapist for the Specialist Children's Health Services of Leicester City PCT. Jo now works for the practice following referral from the practice doctors for both physiotherapy work for both adults and children and undertakes OH ergonomic assessments.
Lorraine holds an Advanced Diploma in the Management of Psychological Trauma and has a MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy. She undertakes CBT for anxiety on behalf of the practice.
Penny Stevens holds an MSc.in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy and specialises in the treatment of weight loss
Dee Welch is a qualified Masseuse and undertakes Holistic Massage on behalf of the practice. She has also trained in nutrition and provides practical support to both adults and children on behalf of the practice.
Disha has an MSc in International Technology Management but her real passion is in the creative arts. In 2008 she qualified as a Master in Reiki and now provides Reiki to patients of the practice seeking relief from the traumas and stresses of everyday life.
