The practice has a qualified physiotherapist, Jo Cotton, who works with us on an as needs basis. Jo deals with the full range of services for musculoskeletal pain and joint problems and works with both adults and children. As far as possible the practice very much bases its physiotherapy treatments on self awareness and the best ways of managing your own body in the process of repair. We also have access to ultrasound or interferential treatment (by way of referral) if required.
The practice provides a home visiting service for physiotherapy. If you are interested in this please let us know.
Please note that physiotherapy is complemented by acupuncture treatment provided by Dr Julia Piper. Musculoskeletal Medicine is also very much dependent upon a person's baseline nutrition and the importance of not being deficient in neurotransmitters and all the basic building blocks that are required for our muscles and joints to work properly. To this end, a consultation with one of the nurses or doctors to help optimise your nutrition is also recommended.
If you have a query or would like to email us please go to our contact us page.
