Occupational Health Assessments

Occupational health Assessments can be conducted by one of our Occupationally Health trained doctors or by one of our experienced Occupational Health Nurses.

Occupational Health Assessments may be required for a number of reasons and include:

  • Sickness Absence Medicals (usually performed by an OH doctor only)
  • Health Checks
  • Assessment of an employee suffering from any form of medical complaint, including stress, injury, back pain, depression, problem at work etc

If a medical opinion is required which will stand up in court then it is adviseable to request a report from an OH doctor. For general medical consultations and injuries an initial assessment with an experienced occupational health nurse may be sufficient or be used as a first line review.

At Private GP Services we have 3 doctors who are occupationally health trained including:

  • Dr Julia Piper, DipOccMed
  • Dr Robert Hampton, DipOccMed
  • Dr Maureen Coggins, FFOM

We also have 2 nurses with Occupational Health experience.

If you would like one of your employees or clients to be seen by an Occupationally Qualified doctor or Nurse experienced in Occupational Health please ring the practice to book an appointment.

If you would like one of our Nurses to spend time on site please ring the practice and ask for a quotation.

If you have a query or would like to email us please go to our contact us page.

If you would like to book an appointment please call us on 0116 2700373 or email info@privategp.com.
