Vitamin A
Vitamin A is not one of the most exciting vitamins but it is important in our daily living as it can be useful for treating or preventing conditions including Eczema, Sunburn, Hearing Loss, Colds, Malaria, TB, Conjunctivitis, Cancer and Diabetes. However too much Vitmin A can cause toxicity issues and Osteopeorosis. Vitmain A is found in foods such as fish liver oils, products such as eggs, carrots, spinach, kale and other fruits and vegetables.
Beta-Carotene
Beta-Carotene is one of a large group of carotenoids that occur in plant foods. It acts a little like an antioxidant and helps in immune function. It may be useful for preventing and treating dementia, cognitive decline and sunburn amongst a few other less common conditions. Food sources of beta-carotene include green leafy vegetables, and orange-yellow fruits and vegetables.
